TAKE A BREATH at our atmospheric forest caf\u00e9!<\/h2>\n

In the spring of 2024, six adorable alpacas arrived in the caf\u00e9’s yard: Tyko, Enzo, Isac, Lionell, Jackpot, and a little later Fransu will join the group. We let the animals adjust to their new environment peacefully, and we kindly ask you to do the same!<\/p>\n

You can admire the animals from outside the enclosure. However, please do not feed them anything, and keep your dogs on a leash throughout your visit.<\/p>\n

Forest Caf\u00e9 can be reached by walking, following the signs after the Safari House. The path to the destination leads through the forest. You can park your car in the J\u00e4rvisyd\u00e4n parking area (first two hours free of charge). For those with mobility challenges, there is the possibility to arrive by car through the Hakotuvantie route to the caf\u00e9 courtyard (please notify the caf\u00e9 in advance so that we can reserve a spot for parking in the courtyard).<\/p>\n <\/div> \n \n \n \n\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n \n <\/div>\n \n \n\n \n\n\t<\/div>\n\t\n\t

Hot and cold delights! <\/h2>\n \n

At the Forest Caf\u00e9, you can enjoy hot and cold drinks as well as sweet and savory snacks by the fireplace in the caf\u00e9's cabin or on the outdoor terrace.<\/p>\n

The caf\u00e9 has a liquor license, offering craft beers from the local brewery, Karvila Brewery, and beer-tasting packages.<\/p>\n

Outdoor escape game - Broken Heart <\/h2>\n \n
\n

Play an exciting escape game around the Forest Caf\u00e9 and uncover the story of a broken heart.<\/p>\n

The game is suitable for groups of 2\u20135 people and designed for adults but can also be enjoyed by teens. One time slot is available per hour per group.<\/p>\n

The game takes you on a journey of about 1 km around the Forest Caf\u00e9 area, solving tasks and challenges along the way. You\u2019ll play using clues found in the environment, task boxes, and a free app that you\u2019ll download to your phone.<\/p>\n

The playing time is 60 minutes. Before starting, players should review the game instructions independently at the Forest Caf\u00e9. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled game time for this.<\/p>\n

Dress appropriately for the weather and bring along a good mood and team spirit!<\/p>\n

The Forest Caf\u00e9\u2019s Alpacas and Alpaca Programs <\/h2>\n \n
\n

The Forest Caf\u00e9\u2019s alpaca boys\u2014Enzo, Lionel, Tyko, Jackpot, Isac, and Fransu\u2014are available to meet year-round in the caf\u00e9\u2019s yard. You can greet the alpacas from outside the fence. Feeding them is prohibited, and dogs must be kept on a leash. Please note that the fence is electrified!<\/p>\n

Alpaca Coffee Time Under the Spruce Trees (during snow-free seasons)<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

This coffee break includes a coffee and your choice of snack from the caf\u00e9 menu, treats for the alpacas, and a brief introduction to the animals.<\/p>\n

Access to the enclosure is allowed only with a staff member. You can enjoy your coffee peacefully in the company of the alpacas. Children must be accompanied by an adult.<\/p>\n

In case of bad weather, you can enjoy your coffee on the caf\u00e9 terrace after meeting the alpacas.<\/p>\n <\/div> \n \n

Alpaca Walk on Porosalmi\u2019s Sand Roads and Forest Trails <\/h2>\n \n
\n

The walk is guided by an instructor and starts from the yard of the Forest Caf\u00e9. The route is approximately 1\u20132 km long, and you can choose between an easier road route or a forest trail with some inclines.<\/p>\n

The walk begins with an introduction to the alpacas and instructions on how to handle them. Each participant will have their own alpaca to lead or share one between two people. The pace is leisurely, allowing the alpacas to snack along the way. The focus of the walk is to relax, enjoy nature, and spend time with the animals.<\/p>\n

The experience ends with coffee at the Forest Caf\u00e9, either on the terrace, by the fireplace, or in the alpacas\u2019 forest enclosure.<\/p>\n

What to bring:<\/b> Comfortable walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and a calm, relaxed attitude. The walk will not take place in heavy rain or extreme weather, and customers will be notified in such cases.<\/p>\n

Children:<\/b> Under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult. Price for children -50%.<\/p>\n

Payment:<\/b> On arrival at the Forest Caf\u00e9, by card or cash.<\/p>\n
