Cruise to the Savonlinna Opera Festival

In the summer of 2026, we will offer evening cruises from Järvisydän to the Savonlinna Opera Festival. If you are staying at Järvisydän, you can conveniently travel directly to the Opera Festival by boat and return by bus right after the opera performance.

The opera cruise sails through the beautiful Lake Saimaa, which you can admire from the ship’s rooftop terrace. The ship’s bar serves a variety of refreshments during the cruise, allowing you to enjoy the stunning archipelago, Linnansaari National Park, and the summer scenery of Lake Saimaa. During the cruise, we will also enjoy a three-course Opera Dinner in the ship’s dining hall. See the menu below.

The ship docks directly at the Opera Festival, at the Olavinlinna pier, from where you can head straight to the audience seating.

Schedule:

• Departure from Järvisydän at 3:30 PM
• Arrival at Olavinlinna at 6:30 PM
• Return bus departs after the opera, around 11:00 PM

Price: 139€ per person, including the cruise, a three-course dinner, and return by bus (Please notice that the cruise does NOT include tickets to the opera).
