Restaurant Solitary - 30th Best restaurant in Finland!
The Restaurant Solitary offers dinner experiences in the middle of the enchanting nature of Lake Saimaa, isolated from the hustle and bustle of the world and surrounded by the peace of nature. The restaurant is located in the main building of Kuru Resort, in the immediate vicinity of Lake Heart. The chef's menu, which changes according to the season, is based on the natural produce of the surrounding area: fish and game from Lake Saimaa and berries, mushrooms, and wild herbs from the nearby forests.
The menu includes at least 6 courses and is based on the raw materials delivered to our kitchen by our network of local producers. Handicraft and respect for raw materials are at the core of our work.
