The fire kitchen is a unique and authentic part of Järvisydän. The art of cooking by the living fire began at Järvisydän. In the fire kitchen, we honor these Järvisydän traditions by offering you food made on-site with skill and expertise, using high-quality domestic ingredients.
Wine Cellar's Fire Menu
The dishes will be served to the table.
To start, a velvety asparagus soup with marinated asparagus and herb oil (LF, GF), served with toasted sourdough bread and churned butter.
The meat main course is slow-cooked reindeer shank with sautéed mushrooms, dark lingonberry sauce, Jerusalem artichoke purée, and charred vegetables (LF, GF).
The fish main course is flame-grilled whitefish with butter and white wine sauce, charred celeriac purée, and grilled asparagus (LF, GF).
The vegetarian main course is a grilled celeriac steak with grilled asparagus, blackcurrant and red wine sauce, and Jerusalem artichoke purée (LF, GF).
For dessert, we serve yoghurt custard with crystallized white chocolate and raspberry (GF).
