Restaurant Solitary - 30th best restaurant in Finland!

Restaurant Solitary offers dining experiences in the middle of the enchanting nature of Lake Saimaa, isolated from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the world in the middle of the peace of nature. Restaurant Solitary is located in the main building of Kuru Resort, in the immediate vicinity of Järvisydän.

The Chef's menu changes according to the season and is based on the natural bounty of the surrounding nature; fish and game from Lake Saimaa, as well as berries, mushrooms, and wild herbs from the nearby forests. The menu includes at least 6 dishes and is entirely dependent on the ingredients that our local produce network delivers to our kitchens at any given time. 2024 Solitary was voted 30th best restaurant in Finland!
