Ice routes
Maintained ice route during winter season to Linnansaari National Park. On this route, you can engage in activities such as ice skating, kick sledding, walking, winter cycling, and, weather permitting, skiing on the trail alongside the main route. The nearest campfire sites are located on Kaarnetsaari, 2,5 km away, and Pikkulappi, 3 km away. Tickets for the ice route and equipment rentals can be obtained from Järvisydän Safari House.

Please wear a helmet when cycling or ice skating (included in rent). The route fee is always included in our rental fees.
Good to know
Benches and informational signs along the route. The ice on the trails is well-maintained, and its thickness is regularly measured, ensuring that outdoor activities on the marked route are always safe. Please do not deviate from the designated path. Ice conditions can be checked on the Ice Skating Facebook page.
Also, be mindful not to venture into the shoreline snowdrifts to avoid disturbing seal nesting areas. Avoid walking on the ice near the harbor (long pier) as it may be weak. Always confirm the condition of the route before venturing onto the ice.
