In the luxurious Lake Suite rooms, nature wraps around you and you can observe the serene life of the lake from up close. The view opening to the lake through the glass wall brings the rhythm of nature indoors in every season. The connection to nature calms your mind and enhances your well-being. The resort has a total of 12 Lake Suite rooms, located in two two-storey shoreline buildings right on the shore of Lake Hietalampi. The room amenities are the same in both the villas and the suites. The resort has a total of 20 Villas, designed for two adult guests. The Villas are standalone buildings with no shared walls. All Villas have the same amenities, but you can choose between two different types depending on the view from the windows. Lake Villa The Lake Villas are located on the edge of a slope descending toward the lake, offering an enchanting view of the pine forest and partially of the lake. Nature Villa The Nature Villas are located above the Lake Villas on the slope, closer to our main building. From the Nature Villas, the view is toward the resort and partially toward nature. Villas and Suites (34 m²) with an open-plan layout, a wide double bed, and a fireplace Take a hot bath and enjoy the soothing ambiance. You can surround yourself in relaxing soundscapes or enjoy the silence. Or enjoy the warmth and tension relieving experience of Sauna whilst admiring the calming nature scenery opening from the window. Let the hot steam melt away any stress or worry you might carry. Feel your shoulders relax and melt away from your ears. We also warmly encourage you to try a meditation practice in a sauna, you can find a guide for this from your room. Kuru is located in the heart of nature, by a peaceful lake where a dip in natural waters is part of the daily routine. When staying in Kuru, you can take a morning swim year-round. The swimming docks at Kuru’s lakeside saunas are available for your use in the mornings from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. In winter, both docks have ice holes and good swimming ladders. A towel and bathrobe can be found in your room. In winter, we always recommend ice swimming with a friend, not alone. For winter swimming we recommend using socks, cloves and a hat to make it bit warmer. Please note that the lakeside saunas and outdoor hot tubs are available by reservation only.
