Nature Resort Järvisydän Closed April 2027 During Annual Resort Renewal
Nature Resort Järvisydän & Kuru Resort will be closed throughout April 2027 for its annual development and maintenance period, Annual Resort Renewal.
During this period, we maintain our facilities, develop our services, and invest in staff training to ensure we continue providing an exceptional guest experience.
The Annual Resort Renewal enables us to carry out maintenance, servicing, and development work that cannot be completed while guests are staying at the resort. It ensures a high-quality, safe, and memorable experience throughout the year. By dedicating this time annually to improvements, we can continue offering our guests Finland’s finest spa hotel experience.
During the Renewal period, we will carry out, among other things:
- Annual maintenance of the Lake Spa, including inspections of pool and sauna systems
- Refurbishment and maintenance of accommodation, restaurants, and public areas
- Preventive maintenance of buildings, technical systems, and safety equipment
- Spring maintenance of outdoor areas, nature trails, docks, and the surrounding environment
- Sustainability and energy-efficiency improvements in accordance with the principles of the Green Key environmental certification
- Staff training, safety exercises, and the development of service concepts for the upcoming seasons
Looking Ahead
Throughout April, we will prepare the resort and its surroundings to welcome both domestic and international guests in the best possible condition for the upcoming summer, autumn, and winter seasons.

1. Can I book a holiday for April 2027?
Nature Resort Järvisydän will be closed from 1–30 April 2027 during the Annual Resort Renewal. We will welcome guests back from May 2027 onwards.
2. Is this a one-time closure?
No. The Annual Resort Renewal is an annual operating model designed to ensure the long-term quality, safety, and continuous development of our resort and services.
3. Can I visit the restaurants or the spa during April?
Unfortunately not. The Annual Resort Renewal applies to the entire Nature Resort Järvisydän property. All services – including accommodation, restaurants, and the Lake Spa – will be closed throughout April.
4. My gift card expires in April. Can it be extended until May?
Yes. Please contact our customer service at jarvisydan@jarvisydan.fi to request an extension. Be sure to include your gift card number in your message.
5. Why is the entire resort closed for April?
Closing the resort allows us to carry out extensive maintenance, refurbishment, and development projects – including the annual servicing of the Lake Spa, preventive maintenance of our buildings and technical systems, and comprehensive staff training – safely and efficiently without affecting our guests’ holiday experience. This is not a single renovation project, but a comprehensive annual renewal programme covering the entire resort.
