Welcome to the Heart of Järvisydän! Our new, recently completed fire kitchen is at the heart of our restaurant. We have prepared a comprehensive experience for you, where we have done our best to consider not only locality and domesticity but also seasons and traditions.

We welcome you to enjoy Fire Menu's delicacies and each other's company!

Serving times: Mon-Thu at 6pm, Fri-Sat 6pm and 8.30 pm. Closed on Sundays.

Live fire is the essence of our Fire Menu

The fire kitchen is a unique and authentic part of Järvisydän. The art of cooking by the living fire began at Järvisydän. In the fire kitchen, we honor these Järvisydän traditions by offering you food made on-site with skill and expertise, using high-quality domestic ingredients.

Wine Cellar's Fire Menu

As a starter, we serve chanterelle soup, dark malt bread and churned butter (LF). As of Sep 3 we will be serving black trumpet mushroom soup, fried black trumpet mushrooms, dark malt bread and churned butter (LF).
Vegan: Roasted cauliflower soup (DF,GF)

For the meat dish, we offer braised lamb shank, roasting jus, mint jelly, Jerusalem artichoke-potato purée and seasonal root vegetables (LF,GF).

For the fish dish, we offer charred rainbow trout, sea buckthorn sauce, Jerusalem artichoke-potato purée and seasonal root vegetables (LF,GF).

For the vegetarian option, we offer turnip stuffed with chanterelle stew and seasonal root vegetables (DF).

For dessert, cloudberry pudding with preserved cloudberries and tar ice cream.

FISHING AND OPENFIRE LUNCH: Fish your own rainbow trout from Kalaranta’s fish well and enjoy comforting fish lunch over open fire!  This is an outdoor activity - dress warmly. Assemble at the Safari house 5 min before activity.

À la Carte menu offers classics and refreshing flavors. Open daily at the 2nd floor of our main house. We recommend making a table reservation.
