1. Visit the Forest Café & Alpacas. The cafe is open Mon-Sat 11-16. Alpacas, sledding hill, camp fire for grilling sausages and an outdoor escape game. More information
2. Yoga & relaxation at the Spa and Kuru Lazy Space
Morning yoga, evening yoga, siesta, yin yoga… See all our yoga classes online!
Please note that Kuru Resort is an adult only resort and therefore all Kuru yogas are for adults only – The Warm yoga at the Spa is suitable for all ages!

4. Ice trail & hills of Porosalmi forest: Our 4,5 km ice trail is open for skiing, skating, biking or just walking. Our forest trails give you the perfect thrills in winter biking with electric assisted fatbikes! All equipments are available to rent at the Safari House! (tour skates, eFatbikes, snowshoes, glide snowshoes). Rent price: 34,90€/ adult, Children -50%.

The ice trail is open!
Forest Café is open during Ski Holiday weeks 8-9 Mon-Sat 11.00-16.00. You’ll find the Cafe by the nature trail, not far from the Safari House.
You can head out to the tour skating route in Linnansaari National Park as well as to snowshoeing, skiing, and winter cycling trails. You can see a map of our new hiking routes here, and our tour skating routes here! At our Safari House, you’ll find equipment for outdoor activities and much more!
Winter Fishing Trips
Join a guide and try your luck at catching fish on a traditional ice-fishing trip!
The excursion departs from the Safari House, where we’ll get properly equipped with ice-fishing gear (included in the price).
You’ll head out with the guide, and with tips from a local fishing guide you’ll get to try traditional ice fishing. Our passionate fishing guides know these waters like the back of their hand, and they’ll share the best advice on the secrets of ice fishing.
On the daytime trip, the most common catch is perch, and on the evening trip, burbot.
Duration: 2 hours
Departures: Day trips daily January–April. Evening trip daily in February (burbot ice fishing).

Day trip to Järvisydän
Järvisydän’s nature trails in the gnarled forests of Porosalmi, as well as the ice routes of Linnansaari National Park, invite you to go tour skating, skiing, snowshoeing, and cycling. With children, you can also head out on the trails with a sled and snacks, and stop for a break at a lean-to shelter or the Forest Café. All rental equipment and guided trips can be booked through the Safari House! After your activities, relax in our spa – the day is topped off with a delicious dinner. Spend a full family ski-holiday day at Järvisydän!
